Learning outcomes:

Purpose of studying the discipline – study by students of the structure and biological properties of chemicals that are involved in the vital processes of organisms; familiarization with the structure, properties, application and technology of biomaterials.
The ability to effectively use the tools and methods for analysis, design, calculation of tests in the development of biomedical products and services.
Ability to conduct research and observations on the interaction of biological, natural and artificial systems (prostheses, artificial organs, etc.).
The ability to identify, formulate and solve engineering problems associated with the interaction between living and nonliving systems.
To understand the requirements for biomedical materials and products from them, to the physico-mechanical properties of biomedical materials and master the methods for their determination and statistical processing
