The team involved in the BioArt project comprise expertise from the areas of sensor technology, electronic design, embedded system, biotechnology and medicine and therefore can provide the necessary interdisciplinary know-how required for bioartificial implants. Additionally, DUK has a long lasting experience in designing curricula, as well as providing skills and education required by industry and the market, thus giving its graduates superior chances at the labor market

Within the BioArt project DUK will in particular engage by its expertise in the area of biomedical sensors and measurement, signal processing, biomaterials, image processing, regenerative medicine and blood-material interaction. Focus is sensor integration, online analysis and data communications as well as embedded and edge computing. – by developing (course) curricula and teaching material for Bologna styled study programmes
