This course which is designed for advanced undergraduates, provides in-depth tools for computing applied algorithms used in computational biology. The course is NOT a programming course, it focuses on practical computing applications favorable for collection, processing, analysis, and presentation of experimental sequencing data. The scripting languages that will be used are R and MATLAB, known to be widely used for analyzing massive amounts of data.
