Learning outcomes:
The purpose of this course is to provide general insights about the digital processing of images, and to study several important applications (image segmentation, feature extraction, image compression) both theoretically and practically. The students will work on commonly used tools in the field, from Matlab to OpenCV, to implement the concepts taught in class.
